Exercise :Making figures anonymous..

For this exercise I needed to take some images in a particular place including people but making the people unrecognisable and therefore less prominent.

P965: F8 @ 1/320  87mm  ISO 100

P965 This anonymous figure facing away interested me as I wondered what she was carrying ...a mirror; a bowl; a plate; a plaque? Possibly taking the image further away would make the subject even less prominent?

P967: F8 @ 1/320  26mm  ISO 100
This lady wanted to preserve her anonymity. I came across her when out and about researching Assignment 4 and asked if I could take a picture of her. Yes, it was OK, provided I took her behind her (lovely) yellow umbrella...

P966: F9 @ 1/200  18mm ISO 100

P966 above is  question of small and many. Here the place takes the eye away from the group of people watching a drumming performance.Individual characters blend into the crowd.

P963: F5.6 @ 1/200  89mm  ISO 200

Reflections off a glass window working in my favour here in P965 as opposed to usually getting in the way..a passerby made more anonymous through his sideways reflection..
